Kidde “Hardwire Replacement” smoke alarm
A Kidde smoke alarm with adapters that will allow it to replace and work with existing FireX models AD, ADC, FADC and First Alert/BRK Electronics models SA4121B, 4120, 4919, 5919, and 86RAC interconnected smoke alarms. Only thing I had to change out was the mounting plate.

They cost more, but are well worth it. The only maintenance with a unit like this one is replacing the backup battery. This is a great product !!
